After ‘Bhumigeetha’ by Kesari Harvu, here is another film ‘Gorukana’ on the Soligas of BR Hills. The film directed by Anand P Raju and music composed by V Manohar audio was released.

‘Gorukana’ is a film based on real life story. Bhagya Chinnaswamy is producer of the film. There are incidents what Salumarada Thimmakka followed in sapling trees. This is also an environmental film says Anand P Raju. The poems of Prof SG Siddaramaiah is used for the film ‘Gorukana’.

Actor, director and producer Kashinath released the CD of the film. At Hombe Gowda College in Gayathri Nagar, Kashinath remembered his college days. Deepak came two hours late to the audio release event.

Nishanth and Soujanya are in the cast. Both urged for good support to this film. The cultural program was arranged for the film songs of Kashinath and other Kannada film songs.
